Government would request the presence of international rapporteurs in Peru to assess the situation of democracy

Last Wednesday, February 16, Héctor Valer, former head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), offered statements to the press after holding a meeting with the head of state, Pedro Castillo Terrones. According to the announcement, The Government will seek to establish communication with the United Nations Organization (UN) in order to request the presence of international rapporteurs to assess the situation of democracy in the country.
