The National Emergency System (Sinae) reported this Wednesday that they were registered 6,650 new cases of coronavirus in Uruguay Y 26 deaths.
After an analysis of 17,082 people, it was found that 2,900 were from Montevideo, 1,013 from Canelones, 283 from Colonia, 269 from Maldonado, 256 from Florida, 231 from Paysandú, 203 from Tacuarembo, 199 from San José, 161 from Salto, 158 from Cerro Largo, 142 from Rocha, 140 from Lavalleja, 110 from Rivera, 109 from Soriano, 107 from Río Negro, 97 from Durazno, 97 from Treinta y Tres, 89 from Artigas and 86 from Flores.
The 26 deceased people were between 60 and 101 years old. So far there are 6,820 deaths diagnosed with covid-19.
There are 45,870 active cases, that is, people who are experiencing the disease, 158 of them are in critical care centers. Of the total confirmed positive cases, 17,246 correspond to health personnel. 16,588 of them have already recovered, 629 are suffering from the disease and 29 have died.
