The president, Luis Arce, highlighted that, “With the help of the people, with that unity that the June 26th, With this commitment to democracy and the development of Bolivians, we are sure that we will move forward again, as we have done several times.”
Arce spoke from the Yungas municipality of Chulumani, where he went to deliver 40 houses and where he began the construction of a secondary level hospital.
We are facing, Arce said, “Boycotts in the Assembly, internal and external destabilization processes, we are facing everything, even crises”.
Till the date, The Legislative Assembly has 10 credit projects pending for more than $us 960 million. Legislators close to Evo Morales and the opposition groups Comunidad Ciudadana (CC) and Creemos joined forces and stopped the approval of loans for social, economic and productive development projects.
These are loans for roads, health and education infrastructure, and irrigation and water supply projects.
“Unfortunately we don’t have the resources we had before”he explained and added: “Yes, we have the desire and the commitment, and we are going to demonstrate that this is more valuable than bureaucracy, obstacles and economic boycotts, because when one wants to work for the people, one will do so with results.”
