Voices of rejection and indignation have been unleashed by the death of a mother and daughter, who were attacked by a subject with a knife.
The events occurred inside a house in the municipality of Chinú, Córdoba.
Reports indicate that the 29-year-old woman was at home with her mother.
The subject arrived there with a knife and suddenly began to argue with the young woman.
The situation got to the point where he pulled out his gun and started attacking her.
In an act of bravery, Ena Elvira Madera Rivero, the victim’s mother, tried to protect her daughter, but was killed in the confrontation.
After the incident, some neighbors managed to alert the authorities about what had happened.
The young woman was immediately transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the La Concepción Specialized Clinic in Sincelejo.
However, in the last few hours his death was confirmed.
The woman who had recently ended her relationship with her attacker was killed by around 10 knife wounds, most of them in the abdomen.
Authorities are now offering a reward of 20 million pesos for information leading to his whereabouts.
This man will not only answer for the crime of his ex-partner María Rosa Álvarez Madera, but also for that of Ena Elvira Madera Rivero, 53 years old.
