Santo Domingo.- A tropical wave will reach the area this Friday and will combine with a trough to cause showers in several provinces, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported on Thursday.
The agency predicted that the effect of both phenomena will cause rain in Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macorís, Santo Domingo, the National District, Monte Plata, San Cristóbal, Juan Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Nouel and La Vega.
The same weather conditions will continue over the weekend, with showers in the eastern, northern and southern coastal provinces of the Dominican Republic.
