News Colombia.

In the early hours of Thursday, several stores in the Oro Centro Shopping Center in Florence were affected after the launch of a suspected explosive device.

Local authorities immediately arrived at the scene and confirmed the activation of a low-power explosive, which fortunately only caused material damage.

The cause of the attack is still unknown, but it has raised concerns among local merchants.

Some suspect that this could be an attempt to exert pressure to extort money. In light of this situation, the authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the facts and ensure safety in the sector.

Carlos Mora, secretary of government of Florencia, said: “We have material evidence, videos, and in this way I am sure that in the next few days we will provide effective results with the capture of these people. In addition, we remind citizens that, despite the situations that we are facing, despite the anxiety, we should not pay.”

Authorities have called a security council to review the situation and take appropriate measures to protect citizens and businesses in the area.
