With the creation of Information Technology Cluster by the state government, the entity must begin to promote more consistently the Industry 4.0 to attract investment and that the local companies themselves migrate to that level, considered the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra).
The president of IT industry of this organization, Juan Alberto Vázquez Valeriano, stressed that when the authorities participate, a path is paved for businessmen to be convinced of the need to implement Industry 4.0, because only some are climbing to the 3.0 level, but others have stagnated in the 2.0, which does not contribute to improving competitiveness.
He made it clear that every process has a high cost, but in the long run it is reflected in more sales, because new systems must be implemented to be consistent with the Industry 4.0a situation that should be considered a positive investment.
He considered that in the sectors of auto parts, agri-food companies, textile companies, plastic factories, as well as tourism and health businesses, there is economic potential to be able to scale to the highest level of technology, because they generate a significant number of jobs.
The leader acknowledged that the refusal or doubt about its implementation are the small and medium-sized companies, where the generation of 80% of the state’s jobs is concentrated, because they consider that they will have losses if they migrate, despite the fact that it is a gradual process. .
“It has not yet been understood that this level of industry seeks the digitalization of production processes, for which those companies that adopt this system must start by developing software, whose time is not one or two months, but planning to migrate , for which the state government will have a fundamental role to promote it”, he deepened.
He pointed out that just as Monterey takes the lead in the north of the country as a promoter of Industry 4.0Puebla should be not only among local businessmen but also encompass several neighboring states, such as Tlaxcala Y Morelos.

He commented that because the universities also participate in the cluster created by the state government, it is guaranteed that there is more clarity for businessmen about the benefits of migrating to that level of technology.
Vázquez Valeriano specified that each company must set its times according to its size, but without proper implementation, Puebla will take longer to consolidate Industry 4.0, up to 10 years, so we must talk about the costs-benefits to shorten that period.
