The Minister of Government, Eduardo del Castillo, confirmed this Friday that “the material conditions did not change” for the transfer of the governor of Santa Cruz, Luis Fernando Camacho, from the Chonchocoro prison (La Paz) to the Santa Cruz capital to attend his trial for the “decree” case.
“The material conditions remain the same or identical to the previous authorizations, the material conditions did not changeTherefore, the position from the State, from the Penitentiary Regime Directorate, remains the same,” said the government authority.
This expression arises after, during this week, it became known that a Santa Cruz sentencing court had already officially notified the director of the Chonchocoro penitentiary center, Major Marco Gonzáles, for the transfer of Camacho.
The court order states that Camacho must be transferred one day before the opening of the oral trial against him, for the “decretazo” case, which is set for May 27, at 08:15.
However, according to Minister Del Castillo’s statement, it is expected that Camacho will not be transferred to his trial as occurred in previous judicial authorities.
