Democratic Change says it will work together with the elected government

The Board of Directors of the Democratic Change Party indicated, through a statement, that they will work to the extent possible together with the elected government to solve the country’s problems.

Read the COMMUNICATION:

First of all, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all those who actively participated in the recent May 5 election, including candidates, activists and leaders.

Your dedication, effort and support are invaluable to our party and the country in general. Likewise, thank everyone who supported our project with their vote.

Although the election result does not fully reflect the hard work that each of us has done, it is essential that we recognize the will expressed by the population at the polls. It is evident that there is a clear message of rejection of traditional politics, and it is our duty to understand and respond to this signal.

In this sense, the National Board of Directors considers that it is time to put aside differences and work for the well-being of Panama.

Therefore, we are committed to collaborating, to the extent possible, with the elected government, supporting all those initiatives that seek to solve the major problems facing our nation.

Likewise, we want to make it clear that we will firmly oppose any action that is not oriented towards the benefit of the population. Our commitment is to the Panamanian people, and we will act accordingly.

On the other hand, we wish to inform that the National Board of Directors and its president have given precise instructions to the National Commission of Internal Elections of the party. It has been ordered to restart the party renewal process, the next stage of which will be the election of a new National Board of Directors.

This process will be carried out in accordance with the established rules, regulations and terms, guaranteeing transparency and democratic participation of all party members.

We again appreciate the commitment and dedication of all the members of our group. It is time to join forces and work together for the future of our country.
