The British Foreign Minister, David Cameron, stated this Monday that the plan proposed to the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas for a truce in Gaza includes a forty-day ceasefire.

Cameron said in Riyadh during the World Economic Forum (WEF) that Hamas received “a very generous offer of a 40-day ceasefire, the potential release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners, in exchange for the release of hostages” held in Gaza. since the October 7 attack.
