Undisputed leader. Always Ready did your homework at home and beat César Vallejo of Peru 2-0 in the third round of the group stage of the Copa Sudamericana.

The match took place at the Villa Ingenio Municipal Stadium, where the locals dominated from start to finish and took a well-deserved victory. The Peruvians never set foot in El Alto, and They dedicated themselves to defending for almost the entire match.

However, Always Ready could have extended its lead on two more occasionsbut the VAR intervened and annulled the goals that would have left an even heavier score.

César Vallejo, for his part, showed few lights in attack and barely managed to disturb the rival goal. The local defense remained firm, while Peruvian goalkeeper Carlos Grados was the outstanding figure of the visiting team, preventing the difference on the scoreboard from being wider.

The game was heading towards its final stretch with only one goal on the scoreboard, until José Martines took advantage of a defensive error by César Vallejo to seal the victory for Always Ready.

A steal of the ball in midfield allowed Martines to face the rival goalkeeper and define with mastery, placing the score at 2-0 and unleashing the celebration in the stands.

With this result, Always Ready consolidates its position in the Copa Sudamericana and remains firm in its international objective.

Now, the La Paz team will direct its attention to the next confrontation against Defense and Justicescheduled for Tuesday, May 7, while leaving behind its participation in the group stage of the local Apertura.
