Through Operation Gélido, the National Police and the Public Ministry apprehend 4 people through raids and searches in the districts of San Miguelito and La Chorrera, for the alleged commission of the crime Against the Public Administration in its form of Corruption of Public Officials and Conclusion, to the detriment of the Social Security Fund.
In total, there were 3 search procedures that made it possible to locate and apprehend the requested persons through a judicial process after being investigated for said crime.
According to the investigations that began in 2022 and are being carried out by the authorities, the case is related to the receipt of alleged bribes from a company for the awarding of contracts for the installation and maintenance of air conditioners.
Among those arrested are 3 public officials and the owner of the company that received said contract.
