Professor Gloria Bennett, from the Faculty of Computer Systems Engineering of the Technological University of Panama (UTP), together with the Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technology (DIGITED), led an innovative initiative by incorporating virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality ( RA) in the learning process of their students.
Using these disruptive technologies, through the EON ° of different locations of interest on the UTP Central Campus, and Creation of 3D lessons through use cases.
Professor Bennett commented that the EON XR platform allows the curriculum to be implemented in an innovative and attractive way. “Students feel motivated and learn in a deeper way by interacting with the content in 3D and 360°.”
Among the key benefits that this type of innovation represents for these UTP students are:
