The Comptroller General, Gerardo Solís announced that on February 18 the thirteenth month will be paid to officials.
“The objective with the payment of the first installment of the XIII month this February 18, is to boost the economy and allow officials to have the liquidity to cover basic expenses necessary in the education of their attendees,” he indicated.
The payment for an amount of 53 million, 57 thousand 978 balboas and 30 hundredths (B/. 53,057,978.30) will cover a universe of 273 thousand 397 employees of the three organs of the State, decentralized entities, public companies, financial intermediaries, trusts and municipalities and at the moment more than 900,000 students nationwide are expected to enter school classrooms.
