PREVBarco Manaus II begins operations in 2022. The INSS Floating Post serves the riverside population in the Amazon region.
The vessel is expected to travel through riverside communities and serve around 22,000 people.
PREVBarco has been in existence for more than 20 years and offers the same services as a fixed INSS agency, granting benefits such as sick pay, pensions, death pension, assistance benefit for the elderly and the disabled (BPC) and maternity pay.
More than 600,000 riverside dwellers in the Amazon region have already been assisted.
Anyone who needs this type of service, just bring their personal documents and proof of residence.
PREVBarco was the first civil vessel of the Federal Government to provide services to the rivers of the Amazon.
