The Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) reported that a cold front entered the southwest of Uruguay on Friday night and that a deterioration in weather conditions is expected.
This Saturday is expected increased atmospheric instability, development of rainfall and storms (some punctually intense), mainly south of the Negro River, reported the institute.
What’s more, a drop in temperature is expected throughout the country and “persistent strong gusts from the southeast and south in the coastal strip of the Río de la Plata.”
Inumet anticipates that the situation will start to improve from Sunday the 13thwhen the cloudiness will decrease.
