Navy confirmed death of naval officer in Los Álamos commune

The Navy reported the death of a naval server, belonging to the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 31 “Aldea”, from the city of Talcahuano, who was providing services due to the State of Emergency Constitutional Exception that governs in the Provinces of Arauco and Bío-Bío.

The incident occurred on February 11, at approximately 5:00 p.m., when, inside the Operations Center of the Arauco Task Force in the Los Álamos district, and under circumstances that are still being investigated, the official was found without life.

The Navy extended “its deepest condolences to all his family and closest circle”, and will provide all the necessary support and collaboration in this “difficult moment”.
