The Executive Power established the capacity levels that will be allowed in different venues and events from Monday, February 14, and until Sunday, February 27, as part of the measures to face the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 in Peru.
This was published in the Supreme Decree No. 010-2022-PCM issued this Saturday, February 12, in the legal regulations bulletin of the newspaper El Peruano.
Below is a detail of the capacity that will govern the country in the new period established by the government:
Moderate alert level
Activities in closed spaces:
- Shopping malls, malls, department stores, general stores, and conglomerates: 80%
- Supply stores of basic necessities, supermarkets, markets, warehouses and pharmacies: 80%
- Restaurants and similar, whose customer service area (lounge, bar and waiting room) total less than 200 square meters in internal areas: 80%
- Restaurants and similar, whose customer service area (lounge, bar and waiting room) total equal to or more than 200 square meters in internal areas: 100%
- Casinos and slots: 60%
- Cinemas and performing arts: 80%
- Banks and other financial entities: 80%
- Temples and places of worship: 80%
- Libraries, museums, cultural centers and art galleries: 80%
- Activities of sports clubs and associations (contact sports): 80%
- Activities of sports clubs and associations (non-contact sports): 80%
- Business and professional events: 80%
- Hairdressing and Barber: 80%
- Spa, Turkish baths, sauna, thermal baths: 80%
- Colosseums: 60%
- Gyms: 60%
Activities in open spaces
(Respecting capacity and protocols, prior authorization from local governments within the framework of their powers):
- performing arts
- culture teaching
- Restaurants and similar in outdoor areas
- Protected natural areas, botanical gardens, monuments or archaeological areas, open-air museums and zoos
- Outdoor thermal baths.
- Activities of outdoor sports clubs and associations
- Outdoor business and professional events

- Sports stadiums (complete vaccination schedule plus booster dose): 80%

The provinces that maintain a high alert level include Abancay, Andahuaylas, Arequipa, Bagua, Cajamarca, Cañete, Chachapoyas, Chiclayo, Cusco, Huamanga, Huancavelica, Huancayo, Huánuco, Huaura, Ica, Jaén, Lambayeque, Leoncio Prado, Maynas, Nazca, Pisco, Piura, Puno, San Martin, San Roman, Santa, Sullana, Tacna, Tambopata, Trujillo, Utcubamba.
All other provinces, including Metropolitan Lima and Callao, are considered at the moderate alert level.
