The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen received a visit today from members of the Maxwell Leadership Foundation, led by John C. Maxwell, founder of the group; with the objective of strengthening relations and sharing the vision of the Transformation Movement of Panama, a program of the Ministry of Education of Panama (Meduca).
The Transformation Movement Program is a leadership and soft skills promotion project, created by Meduca and sponsored by the Maxwell Leadership Foundation and the #1 expert in leadership, Dr. John C. Maxwell; at no cost to participants. This project is already in 250 schools impacting the lives of 90 thousand young people.
The Panama Lidera Foundation, represented by the Panamanian Williams Olivares, is a non-profit organization, allied to the Maxwell Leadership Foundation that supports Meduca developing the Transformation Program. The Ministry of Education and Panama Lidera, began the development of a program designed for young people focused on personal growth, the formation of values and leadership, in order to carry out a transformation in their society.
It is a project that is in private and official educational centers of Basic General Education and Secondary Education.
Panama was selected by the Maxwell Leadership Foundation, with the aim of contributing to the construction of a society based on values; thus becoming the fifth country to work on this transformation after Guatemala, Paraguay, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
