He March Bonus doubled, it has become one of the most awaited and needed benefits by thousands of Chilean families. The Permanent Family Contribution, popularly known as March Bonus, is one of the important benefits provided by the Government of Chile. During the year 2023, this benefit experienced a significant increase, since Congress approved the bill that doubled its amount.
In this way, to the original $60,000, an extra amount was added for the same amount, thus reaching a total value of $120,000. If the person is a beneficiary and has a Rut account of BancoEstado, the contribution will be automatically deposited in said account. It is important to note that there are requirements to access the doubled March Bonus. Among them are people who receive Family or Maternal Allowance for their family responsibilities, whether they are workers of private or public companies, who have had these benefits in force as of December 31, 2022.
Also, those who receive Family Subsidy, as long as they have had that benefit in force on the same date mentioned. Likewise, families belonging to the Securities and Opportunities Subsystem or Chile Solidario, who were beneficiaries of these systems as of December 31, 2022, can also access the March Bonus duplicate.
