A member of the criminal organization founded by José Antonio Márquez Morales (El Caracas), was captured for allegedly threatening a person with disclosing an intimate video if he did not deliver a certain amount in dollars.
The detainee is registered as Deibert David Godoy Segovia, who was captured in the La Represa sector, Barinas municipality, Barinas state, in response to investigation order No. MP-130593-2023, for the crime of extortion.
The arrest of Godoy Segovia was prepared by agents of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) through a controlled delivery operation.
This, because the subject was demanding a dollar amount from the victim so as not to make intimate videos of her public.
Through a similar procedure, Conas 22 arrested two women allegedly involved in extortion: Belkis María Blanquicet Díaz and Juana Inés Prieto Suárez.
These women were caught in the El Paraíso sector, Alberto Adriani (El Vigía) municipality, Mérida state, to comply with investigation order No. MP-140792-2023, for the crime of extortion.
Blanquicet and Prieto were denounced by a victim who was being demanded an amount in dollars so as not to attack her family nucleus.
And in Santa Rita (Zulia), the military detained Henry José Carrasquero Báez, who was allegedly a driver for the organization founded by Yeferson José Nava Jiménez (El Yet Nava). A vehicle was seized from the man.
