Job call at DGI with salaries starting at 58,000 pesos: look at the requirements

The Ministry of Economy launched a job call through the Uruguay Concursa platform. These are two calls for administrative tasks in the General Tax Directorate (DGI), one of which is reserved for people who define themselves as Afro-descendants.

The call is open from July 10 to 24.

DGI job call salary

The salary of the two positions is $58,379 at values of January 2023. To this must be added the corresponding amount for the perception of bonuses for group performance with a maximum of 15% of annual compensation.

DGI job call requirements

To apply for the call, one of these conditions must be met

1) Be a graduate of the Technological Baccalaureate in the Technological Media Education Administration (EMT) orientation of the General Directorate of Professional Technical Education – UTU, or from institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture;

either

2) Be a graduate of Professional Secondary Education courses (EMP) in the Administration orientation of the General Directorate of Professional Technical Education – UTU, with a completed baccalaureate;

either

3) Be a graduate of the Professional Baccalaureate (BP) in Administration of the General Directorate of Professional Technical Education – UTU.

Incompatibilities and prohibitions

According to the bases of the call, the participants will not be able to

Maintain other links with the Public Administration, except those that admit their accumulation with other positions or functions by virtue of an express legal norm.
Receive passivity, withdrawal or subsidy from public activity generated by itself
Having been dismissed, by means of a firm resolution, for the commission of a serious administrative misconduct or breach of their obligations
Existence of disqualification as a consequence of an enforceable criminal sentence.
Have taken advantage of the incentivized retirement regime

Selection process

a) Opposition contest: up to 60 points

b) Assessment of merits and background: up to 25 points

c) Personal Interview: up to 15 points

Those who reach 70 points will go to the next stage.

Quota for Afro-descendants

“For the purposes of effective compliance with the Afro-descendant quota, the quotas corresponding to it will be filled first. Applicants who have defined themselves Afro-descendants, will be able to access the number of positions that represent 8% of the total contested. If the percentage described cannot be covered, the general order of final priority will be used. The criteria that will be applied to select among these applicants will be the one with the highest score, ”says the call.
