The body of Andrés Eloy Torres (24) was located in a space in the General del Sur Cemetery, Caracas, according to police reports. The body had a bullet to the head.
Torres had been missing since March 7 when he left his residence located in Los Flores de Catia, Caracas. That day he was preparing to do masonry work in El Valle, according to relatives.
Seeing that Torres did not arrive, family members filed a complaint with the Cicpc. There they said that Torres had denounced a former official of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) identified as Antoni Andrés Aponte Murfari on February 2 because he allegedly defrauded him.
The Public Ministry has opened an investigation.
