A man was sentenced to eight years in jail as author of a homicide occurred around one in the morning last Friday in junction elms.
As reported by the Canelones Police Headquarters, the troops arrived at the scene after being alerted by a call to 911 and found a 32-year-old man stabbedwith several wounds on the body, lying down on public roads between Juan Parodi and Salinas streets.
The medical team’s examination confirmed the man’s death at the scene.
The Homicide department’s investigation determined that the suspect was a 32-year-old man with background for receiving and personal injury who was arrested through a raid.
Finally, when found criminally responsible for a crime of homicide as author, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for effective compliance.
