The future Minister of the Interior, Izkia Siches, lamented, via Twitter, the death of the trucker Bayron Castillo registered in Antofagasta and which has generated the mobilization of truckers in the north of the country. “The death of Bayron Castillo hurts, our condolences to his family,” said the former president of the Medical Association through the social network.
This Thursday the lifeless body of the 25-year-old was found in an underpass near the airport in that city. According to the Carabineros investigation, those involved began to throw stones at the victim’s vehicle when he was driving from Mejillones to Antofagasta. Given this, the trucker rebuked them and began a fight against the Venezuelan citizens where he finally ended up falling into a nearby level crossing, dying on the spot.
