It is the first time that the reserves have increased since the government published the daily report

The government issued a new report referring to the quality of water in SBI.
Chloride values were within as permitted by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) in the three pumping lines
On the other hand, sodium values also they were within what was allowed in the three lines.
The portfolio exceptionally set the values of sodium at 420 milligrams per liter and those of chlorides at 720 milligrams per liter.
Water consumption in Montevideo and the metropolitan area was 500,686 cubic meters, below what was recorded the day before (511,537).
Meanwhile, reserves at Paso Severino rose for the first time since the publication of the periodic report. They are in 1,134,484 cubic meters of a total of 70 million of cubic meters of water that this reservoir can store. The day before they were at 1,117,482 The reserve percentage is 1.62%.
The recommendations of the MSP in the face of the water crisis
The Ministry of Public Health reiterated the recommendations it had issued at the time, when the increase in salt and chloride levels was announced.
General population: without diagnosed hypertension

Maintain the usual daily water consumption, which can be entirely OSE water

Do not add salt to food in children starting semi-solid/solid diets (infants up to 2 years of age)

If possible, for the preparation of infant formulas, use mineral water

In a population with an unknown increased risk of being hypertensive (over 60 years of age), periodic blood pressure checks are recommended.
People who take antihypertensives and diuretics

They should minimize the consumption of foods with excess sodium

They can continue to consume OSE water up to one liter per day and it is recommended to complete their usual intake with mineral water
People with chronic kidney disease, heart failure, cirrhosis, or pregnant

Avoid drinking OSE water as much as possible, advised by your attending physician

In case you have to drink OSE water, it is recommended not to exceed one liter of water per day and to increase the frequency of blood pressure checks.

Complete the intake of the daily volume of water recommended by your doctor
