He Republic President, Nicolás Maduro, led this Tuesday the promotion of generals, admirals and military personnel who ranked first in the order of merit of each promotion and category of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
In the act carried out from the National Pantheon before the mortal remains of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, Maduro rejected the hate campaign against the pilot “martyr of our homeland”, Paulino Millán, promoted post-mortem to the rank of general of the Bolivarian Military Aviation.
“I have been very outraged by the attacks of the scoundrel, of the right, of fascism, inoculating its poison of hatred against our martyred pilot, filling it with lies, mockery, falsehoods and ignoble attacks,” he repudiated.
Hate campaign against the FANB
President Maduro denounced that “this attack against Paulino Millán is an attack against the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, because they despise the Venezuelan military. They would prefer a gringo soldier occupying our sacred land with his boots. They would prefer a gringo military giving orders to the Venezuelan military.”
Maduro stressed that “never again in life will that happen again in Venezuela.”
“Honor and glory! To morality, honor and the eternal spirit of our pilot Paulino Millán. Honor and glory to him and to all the Venezuelan military (…) Enough of the dirt, enough of the hatred, enough of the fascists, enough of the country-seller”, he stressed.
Clips and hoods to 251 high ranks of the FANB
During the activity, the also Commander-in-Chief of the FANB imposed, as an act in recognition of merit, discipline and commitment, the belt loops and hoods on 251 troops belonging to the Bolivarian Army, Bolivarian Navy, Bolivarian Military Aviation and Bolivarian National Guard.
“I want to congratulate you on this step in your military life, as leaders of a powerful Bolivarian National Armed Forces, reaching the pinnacle, product of your military merits, your morale, your commitment to the homeland, your honesty, your discipline” , praised the head of state before the request for promotion to the rank of Major General (G/D) and Vice Admiral, made by the now G/D Pablo Ernesto Lizano Colmenter.
Maduro added that the high officials were forged in “this intense race of sacrifice to defend our land and to defend our homeland.”
“So I congratulate you, your family and authorize the promotion to proceed immediately,” he continued.
New strategic concept
The first national president assured that the FANB continues to transit “strong, united and cohesive. It is being forged in the new military doctrine and the new strategic concept to defend the right to peace of our country”.
“It is absolutely nationalist, libertarian, rebellious, Bolivarian and deeply Chavista, because it was the Supreme Commander who dreamed of a totally sovereign FANB, with high technical and professional capacity,” he stressed.
FANB liberates the Venezuelan Amazon
Maduro reported that the FANB is making a presence in the territory, liberating the Venezuelan Amazon, liberating the national parks of southern Venezuela and establishing order, establishing the necessary order. “We are evicting more than 10,000 illegal miners,” he detailed.
