The Miranda 2nd Trial Court sentenced Luis Alberto Sánchez Rodríguez (39) to 25 years in prison, after admitting his responsibility for the death of Yulianny Hernández Rodríguez (11) and Amado Díaz Lugo, 69 years old, reported the Ministry Public.
The events occurred on October 9 and 13, 2022, respectively, in the municipality of Guaicaipuro (Los Teques), Miranda.
At night on October 9, the girl was returning to her home, after making a purchase at a bodega in the Nueva Esperanza Brisas de Palo Alto sector of that town, at which time Sánchez Rodríguez and the sixty-year-old offered her to enter. to the house of both to give him sugar. Once inside the building, the attackers sexually abused her, strangled her and threw her body on a vacant lot in the area.
The next day, a neighbor alerted Cicpc-Los Teques officials about the presence of the body of a girl in the place. After several investigative tasks, the connection of both with the event was verified, for which they were arrested in the sector.
Subsequently, Sánchez Rodríguez strangled Díaz Lugo on October 13 of that year in a cell in which they were being held.
In the trial, the 12th Prosecutor of the aforementioned jurisdiction ratified the accusation against Sánchez Rodríguez for the crime of aggravated femicide, sexual act with a particularly vulnerable victim and qualified homicide.
The 2nd Trial Court issued the aforementioned sentence and set the El Rodeo II Judicial Confinement Center, located in Guatire, as the place of confinement.
Another criminal process that resulted in a sanction was the one carried out against Adelys Jesús Petit (51), who was sentenced to 14 years and eight months in prison after admitting his responsibility for the sexual abuse of his 16-year-old daughter, reported the Prosecutor’s Office.
The incident was denounced on 12/4/22 by the pastor of the religious congregation to which the victim belongs in the state of Falcón; to whom he confessed how her father sexually abused her. The adolescent narrated that as a result of the relationships that her father forced her to have, she became pregnant. The man will serve his sentence in the Cicpc-Carirubana.
