Along the same lines as President Lacalle Pou, Colman ratified the will to believe in a Mercosur that is open to innovation and trade, understanding that it is vitally important to create trade and cooperation agreements with other regional associations and states, Parlasur being a central actor in parliamentary diplomacy and a key player in the approval of the European Union – Mercosur agreement.
