The Haitian team was left out of the race in the Gold Cup organized by Concacaf and therefore the striker Jayro Jean must return to Bolivia to join Always Ready, after having played the first semester of the year at Real Santa Cruz.

Jean participated in all three group stage matches that his team played in the United States, since in all the commitments he entered in the second half.

In the first match of the tournament, on June 25, the Haitians defeated Qatar 2-1 and Jayro Jean made his entry in the 84th minute instead of Fafa Picailt.

Haiti’s second game was against Mexico on June 29. Jean entered the pitch at 58′ to replace Wilde-Donald Guerrieropportunity in which the Aztecs prevailed 3-1.

The third match of the Haitians in the 2023 Gold Cup was this last Sunday against Honduras, a match they had to win to qualify for the next phase, but they lost 2-1. on this occasion Jean played the entire second half, as he entered instead of Carnejy Antoine.

Little by little, the 25-year-old forward was gaining more minutes in his selected, although he still could not grab the starting position.

Jean, who scored four goals for Real Santa Cruz in the first half of the year, now he must return to Bolivia to continue his football career at Always Ready, club that finally did not give the striker to any other team despite the fact that he did not lack suitors.

His speed and fast game were an important contribution for Real Santa Cruz, which is currently the best team from Santa Cruz this year in the Professional Division of Bolivian soccer, and from now on they expect the millionaire camp to do the same with the red band jacket.
