The reconstruction of the events where a preschool child died at the College Humboldtlocated in Alta Florida, Caracas, was carried out without the presence of the only witness to the event, according to sources in the judicial system.
This event, reconstructed by Cicpc agents, occurred on November 1, 2022 during an outdoor activity in which two children fell from a fourth-story skylight, later dying one of them, identified as Santiago Guerrero (5). . On that occasion, the Public Ministry imputed the German professor Jean Niklas Klever, among others.
This teacher, who witnessed the moment the two children fell, was not summoned for the reconstruction of the events carried out on June 21. An expert explained that this procedure is normally carried out when there are doubts regarding the fact under investigation. The file contains all the videos captured by different security cameras placed in the Humboldt College facilities, she explained.
During the four months that the investigation has been going on, the file has gone through three tax offices. It was originally opened at Prosecutor’s Office 109, then it went to 76 and now 79 knows it, a source revealed. Uta Martini (primary principal) and Jazmín González de Corso are also accused of the child’s death.
