Luis Fernando Camacho’s father and sister refrained from testifying for the alleged crime of legitimizing illegal earnings

José Luis Camacho Parada, father of the governor of Santa Cruz, and his daughter, availed themselves of their constitutional right to refrain from declaringafter they were accused by the alleged crime of legitimizing illegal earnings during the 21-day strike in the social conflicts of 2019.

Luis Fernando Camacho’s father stated that he decided to refrain from testifying because should not lend itself to a political case whose purpose is persecution against his family and his son.

Both Camacho Parada and his daughter went this Friday afternoon to the facilities of the Specialized Department to Fight Corruption (DELCC) before the summons of the Public Ministry.
