UTE has three calls current labor to cover 57 jobs. The deadline for registration expires on Friday, July 14.
The first call is for 10 jobs for the areas of operation and maintenance of electrical and transmission facilities in different units of the administration based in Montevideo.
Tasks of the UTE job call
Among the tasks that operators must perform are carrying out work at height using laddersoperate equipment in low and medium voltage installations, solve anomalies in installations, use electrical measurement instruments related to the operation and maintenance of installations and carry out work at height on towers, among others.
UTE job call requirements
Those interested must be between 18 and 40 years of age at the time of registration closing. Also be graduates of the Professional Baccalaureate course of “Operation and maintenance of electrical installations in low and medium voltage” and “Operation and maintenance of transmission installations” of the General Directorate of Professional Technical Education (formerly UTU).
The work regimen is an 8-hour day, with 45-minute breaks. The nominal monthly remuneration is $47,518.

Job calls in UTE
The second call from UTE is to cover 20 positions for workers in different units of the administration based in Montevideo.
Tasks to be performed include: assembly of trays, pipes and boards, disassembling and placing parts or artifacts according to its specificities, assemble and place a support structure for the different elements according to the characteristics of the project and direct the operation of the crane if the assembly is at height, among others.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40 at the close of registration.. They must have training in Professional Baccalaureate, profile in electronics or electrical installations. At CEPT (ex Utu).
The work regime is 8 hours a day, with a 45-minute break. The nominal monthly remuneration is $47,518.
The third call is to cover 27 operator positions in the towns of Balasar Brum, Bella Unión, Belén, Constitución, Tranqueras and Sequeira.
Those chosen must fulfill tasks of operation and maintenance at distribution facilitiescarry out corrective and preventive maintenance tasks of low, medium and high voltage overhead lines, among others.
Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age. Also have an approved Basic Cycle of Secondary Education or CETP (ex UTU).
The work regimen is 8 hours a day. The nominal monthly remuneration is $47,518.
