María Corina Machado, political leader of Vente Venezuela, assured that if she wins the presidential elections she will seek family reunification. She said she is not intimidated by threats of disbarment against her.
The coordinator of the Vente Venezuela organization and candidate for the October 22 primaries, Maria Corina Machadoassured on the night of Wednesday June 28 in Sabaneta de Barinas that he will not be intimidated by the alleged threats received by some politicians to manage his disqualification and wondered why the sudden fear against his political actions.
“Now they have given us obstacles, threatening us. They think that with that they are going to intimidate us. And I have started to think about this land that Chávez would have had, you know what, to confront and measure himself against me. And why is this man so terrified now?” Machado said.
With this, he referred to the threats made by the former presidential candidate Luis Ratti and the deputy of the National Assembly elected in 2020 José Brito who, separately, have taken steps before the Comptroller’s Office to introduce an appeal that allows the disqualification of the former parliamentarian and the check your status there.
In the same way, he expressed his intention to achieve, once he reaches the Presidency, seek the reunion of Venezuelan families because many have been separated as a result of forced migration. And, in this sense, he called for them to exercise their right to vote inside and outside the country in the primaries, which in his opinion are the first step to achieve their goals.

“Today we appreciate having our children and grandchildren here like never before. I will help them to return to theirs and you will help me to return to mine as well,” said Machado.
During the María Corina Machado rally in Sabaneta de Barinas, the arbitrary arrest of the owner of the sound truck that was used for the act was reported, together with four other people who made the logistics for the political act.
