Two people died in a traffic accident happened in Thirty-threereported the Highway Police in a statement.
The event happened at 09:05 this Monday in the kilometer 305 of Route 8at the height of Thirty-Three.
The victims, a 33-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, They were traveling in a Ford brand car on that road when they hit. There was only one person in the truck.
According to Caminera, the accident occurred when the car tried to pass a truck that was traveling in the same direction. It was at that moment that the frontal accident occurred.
The occupants of the car died at the scenewhile the truck driver escaped unharmed of the accident, Caminera explained.
Spirometry on both drivers gave negative results.
The route was blockedand traffic swerved to the side for a “natural girdle”.
Highway and Scientific Police, in conjunction with the Prosecutor’s Office of Thirty-Three, worked at the scene.
The prosecutor in the case, Ana Segovia, asked to take a statement from the witnesses, the intervention of a forensic, Scientific Police and also a mechanical expertise on the vehicles.
