Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized this Saturday during an operation, material used by terrorist groups to process drugs in the Miranda municipality, Falcón state.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, the operational strategic commander (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, indicated that these actions are part of the Pla “Lead” operation.
Specifically, different containers were located with 950 liters of A-1 jet plane gasoline, as well as 540 liters of abandoned hydrochloric acid.
“Presumably the located material is used by criminal terrorist groups for drug processing,” Hernández Lárez wrote on the social network.
In this sense, he reaffirmed the deployment of the FANB throughout the national territory, to deal with the “clandestine groups that generate violence associated with international drug trafficking.”
Operation Autana 2023 in Amazonas
FANB officials are also deployed in the Yapacana National Park, in the state of Amazonaswhere this Saturday a new logistics camp was dismantled in the entity.
Through his Twitter account, Hernández Lárez stated that this logistics camp was made up of 38 cabin-type structures.
“Within the framework of #OperacionAutana2023carried out in the Yapacana National Park of the Amazonas state, #FANB carries out the location, dismantling and destruction of a logistic accommodation camp for illegal mining, made up of thirty-eight (38) improvised cabin-like structures made of wood and plastic, for being polluting agents and violating the current territorial legal system”, he wrote in the social network.
This Monday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, He urged the media to disseminate the work carried out by FANB officials in the south of the country, to eradicate illegal mining.

The FANB has been deployed in all the national parks and forest reserves located in the security and defense zones of the State, with the aim of protecting the environment and combating illegal activities such as illegal mining.
