These are the 3 most dangerous vehicles, according to Sernac

The National Consumer Service (sernac) has issued a safety alert related to three Hyundai vehicle models that could present a risk to users. The affected models are the Venue QX, Elantra CN7 and Santa Fe TM, marketed between 2020 and 2022. According to Automotores Gildemeister SpA, who reported the situation to Sernac, these vehicles have a defect in the front seat belt pretensioners.

The detected problem refers to the possibility of the pretensioners bursting and projecting metal fragments into the passenger compartment of the car in the event of a crash activation. This situation represents a risk to the safety of users, since it could cause injuries. In total, it is estimated that there are 5,393 vehicles Hyundai affected by this alert, being 3,437 of the Venue model, 1,234 of the Santa Fe and 722 of the Elantra.
