Coendú launched drawing contest

It will be for children from 6 to 11 years old about wildlife

The competition involves illustrating a native species and answering why we should not have animals of this type as pets.

The Coendú civil association, dedicated to the conservation of Uruguay’s native flora and fauna, launched a drawing contest for children between the ages of 6 and 11 about native animals.

The contestants must draw a species of our native fauna and answer in the same drawing the following question: “Why shouldn’t we have wild species as pets?”

The drawing must include name, age, department of origin and name of the native species drawn. Addresses and phone numbers should not be included.

Only one drawing per child is allowed and the technique of the piece is free.

To participate, you must send an email to [email protected] with the subject “CONTEST”, attaching a photo of the drawing with the data mentioned above.

The body of the email must include: full name of the child, name and telephone number of the responsible adult and address to send the prizes by DAC. “We remember that these data must be in the mail and not in the drawing,” said the organization.

The term to send the drawings will end on June 20. 5 children will be awarded through a random draw application and it will be defined on Friday, June 30.

All the drawings sent will be published on the Coendú networks.
