With the aim of safeguarding the safety of users in the Caracas Metro, the security agencies have promoted a security device in the subway.
The Bolivarian National Police (PNB) carried out the retention of a 30-year-old subject, indicated for the theft of a cell phone at the exit of the Plaza Sucre station.

In another isolated incident, in the vicinity of the Propatria station, the PNB captured a citizen who, carrying a knife and under threat of death, deprived a user of foreign currency. It should be noted that both citizens were placed at the order of the competent authorities to be prosecuted for these crimes.
Likewise, at the Propatria station, a 19-year-old young man, who was trying to steal a mobile device from a minor’s bag; He was captured in flagrante delicto by PNB officials, who, during a tour, sighted the subject who was stealthily committing the theft, who was called to a halt and was placed in custody to be placed at the order of the Public Ministry.

Dismantled criminal gang at Plaza Sucre station
The Bolivarian National Police (PNB) reported the arrest of 6 subjects belonging to the criminal gang nicknamed “El Ahorcado”; for the theft and commercialization of 7 LED lamps in the vicinity of access 3 of the Plaza Sucre station.
