Venezuela raised its voice to denounce the anachronistic international financial order and the access to resources for the development of the peoples of the region, in the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Caribbean Development Bank (Caribbean Development Bank, Caribank, in its English translation), held in Saint Lucia.

The complaint was made by the Vice Minister for the Caribbean and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (Sunrise-TCP), Raúl LiCausi.

Through his Twitter account, LiCausi highlighted that during the annual Caribank meeting he conveyed the will of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to support the countries of the region in their struggle to have free access to financial resources for the development of the towns.

“During the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the @Caribank We transmit the will of the Pdte. @NicolasMaduroto support the countries of the region in denouncing the anachronistic international financial order and access to resources for development”, he published.

They reject unilateral coercive measures

Likewise, Vice Minister Raúl LiCausi, on behalf of the Non-Borrowing Regional Members, supported the Bridgetown initiative and once again rejected the criminal unilateral coercive measures imposed against sovereign countries.

“On this, on behalf of the Non-Borrowing Regional Members, we support the Bridgetown Initiative and reject the criminal unilateral coercive measures and their negative impact on promoting development in the Caribbean region,” he said on the social network.
