PNB collected 20 panelas of cocaine on the beaches of Maurica

Agents of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) collected 20 panelas of cocaine that they left abandoned on the beaches of Maurica, Barcelona (Anzoátegui), according to a report posted on the Instagram site of the aforementioned security force.

The shipment weighed approximately 22 kilos. The officials arrived at the site after receiving a phone call describing individuals who were in boats and trucks in the Las Bateas sector of Maurica.

Upon arriving at the site, the uniformed officers observed two subjects who were digging in the ground. These people fled in a boat, leaving the drug cache on the shore.

In another procedure, members of the Bolivarian National Guard, Detachment 111, raided two residences in El Marite, Maracaibo (Zulia) and seized 13 panelas of marijuana (7 kilos 524 grams), according to military sources.

During this procedure, four members of the criminal group Los Narcos, identified as José Ángel Páez Semprún, Carlos Daniel Páez Semprún, Randy José Páez Jardines and Xiomara del Carmen Villalobos Villalobos, who will be prosecuted for illicit drug trafficking, were arrested, according to the report.
