Martinelli’s defense attacks again, they file a new complaint against judge Baloisa Marquínez and prosecutor Emeldo Márquez

A new complaint was filed against judge Baloisa Marquínez and prosecutor Emeldo Márquez, lawyer Roniel Ortiz, a member of former President Ricardo Martinelli’s defense team, in the New Business case, said that both violated the protected witness and organized crime laws.

Ortíz assured that Judge Marquínez did not allow the defense of any of the people prosecuted in the New Business case, to have the opportunity to go to the adversarial proceedings with the protected witnesses, committing a crime for which, in her opinion, they must “render accounts before the Public ministry.

Previously, the lawyer Alfredo Vallarino, also defense of the former president, filed a complaint in the Court of Integrity and Transparency of the Judicial Branch, against Judge Baloisa Marquinez, for various irregularities, during the New Business hearing.

Another criminal complaint was filed against the Superior Prosecutor, Emeldo Márquez, for the illegal departure of the protected witness Henri Mizrachi, one of the key pieces of the New Business hearing.
