In the midst of the division in the ruling party and in an act held in coripataPeace, President Luis Arce returned to question this Thursday morning some legislators of the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) for not approving all the government laws. Meanwhile, the leader of that political organization, Evo Moralesinstalled in Cochabamba a first announced meeting of the masistas.

“We urge (…) all the deputies and senators because we send laws and they are sleeping there, (…) our deputies know it, our senators know it, who unfortunately do not accompany, even, many deputies and senators of our own political line do not help, do not contribute”, Arce stated.

The president assured that, upon reaching towns like Coripata, he does his job trying to respond to the needs of the people, but that some legislators of their own political instrument even “want to know what it is and what it is for” when the government has to the Assembly “projects to make pre-investment”.

He stressed that these projects come from this type of concentrations in the populations and not from the Plurinational Legislative Assembly.

“The members of the assembly, present here, happily carry out their work, I have no complaints against the four members of the assembly who are present here. But there are others that (…) do not fulfill these functions and we regret that fact”, he insisted.

In addition, he told the residents concentrated in the act of coripata that were and will continue to be the bastion or fundamental prop of democracy.

“Brothers, you have voted in October 2020 for a government of the people and for the people, and here is your government starting works and promising more works for Coripata,” he pointed out.

Meanwhile, Evo Morales began a first announced meeting of the MAS and confirmed the information through his social networks.

We started the evaluation and coordination meeting with the National Directorate of the MAS-IPSP, departmental delegates and brother leaders of the Unity Pact to organize our National Congress. Organic militancy with respect to our principles is the basis of unity,” said the former president.

MAS Senator Leonardo Loza, who belongs to the “evista” wing, said that, in addition to the meeting this Thursday with social sectors at the head of the MAS National Directorate, Another meeting is also scheduled for Friday with all the senators and deputies of the MAS, between holders and substitutes.

“We are going to attend that meeting, but we have just been informed that a session was also called in Deputies, I do not know what the intention will be, because the National Directorate of the MAS already, in advance, published the call for this meeting; our deputies will make the decisions; (However), we are obedient and disciplined to the call of the National Directorate of the MAS”, said the senator.
