On June 20, the Fontera Special Group (GEFron) of the State of Mato Grosso (Brazil) received an anonymous report detailing a accident with a Bolivian aircraft in Serra da Borda, municipality of Vila Bela da Santíssima Trindade.

The anonymous report indicated that there was an alleged (narco) trafficking. However, during the operation no controlled substance was seized.

A team made up of members of GEFron, the Integrated Air Operations Center (Ciopaer), Federal Police, Military Police of the cities of Pontes and Lacerda and Vila Bela de SS. La Trinidad moved to the place, says a GEFron bulletin.

“Because it was a place of difficult access, since it was a mountainous and closed forest area, it was only possible to reach the place with the support of the Ciopaer helicopter, finding in the place the Debris from a Cessna type 208 airplane (with Bolivian flag in the fall) totally destroyed by fire and the pilot’s body completely charredand among the rubble too a 50 caliber anti-aircraft gun was found, also damaged by fire”, the report describes.

Among the material seized, he mentions a Cesna 208 plane valued at 6 million reais and a 50-caliber rifle, valued at 150,000 reais, with which he affirms that the “damage to crime” is 6,150,000 reais.
