IVSS reported the payment of the July pension as of this #Jun 21

The IVSS indicated in its social networks that as of this Wednesday the pension will be paid to the beneficiaries with calculation in the minimum wage

The Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS) reported in its social networks that the pension corresponding to the month of July, of 130 bolivars, will begin to be deposited as of this Wednesday, June 21.

On May 1, President Nicolás Maduro did not adjust the minimum wage, but he did adjust the food vouchers and the “economic warfare” one. In the case of pensioners, the minister Francisco Torrealba He commented that these people receive the equivalent in bolivars of 20 dollars for this war bond.

In this sense, the war bond amounts to 540 bolivars due to its indexation by the official rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela; so if that amount is added plus the 130 bolivars of the pension it would be 670 bolivars.

Like the month of May, users on social networks complained that they did not receive the money in their accounts or in the homeland wallet.

Retirees and pensioners have repeatedly taken to the streets throughout the country to be able to demand an increase in pensions, since they assure that it is not enough for them. Their demonstrations join that of workers from various unions and from the public administration who are asking for an increase in the minimum wage.

Representatives of the labor sector warned that the initiative of the Maduro administration to increase the bonuses and not the salary, will not be reflected in the payment of benefits, vacations or profits, which is a violation of the rights of Workers.

President Nicolás Maduro reported on Monday, May 1, that the food ticket, or “cestaticket”, will increase to $40 and will be indexed to the BCV exchange rate.

Also that he would give a “war bond” of $20 to bring that “bonus” income to a total of $60, to which would have to be added the minimum salary that remains at 130 bolivars, equivalent to about $5 at the official exchange rate.
