The Wound Podcast: Listen to the third episode, Inside the Barracks

The Armed forces Uruguayans are a closed institution for those who do not integrate them, with their own justice, health, pension system and even vacation camps and party rooms. In that world we get into this third episode of the podcast The wound, to see first hand how the military they deal with the dictatorship behind closed doors, the changes that have taken place in the treatment of the subject in military training, and how some myths, secrets and silences continue to prevail.

Through the testimonies of figures such as Guido Manini Ríos (at that time, a young soldier who commented on what was happening with his companions) and José Mujica, who experienced the ups and downs of the dictatorship in the barracks firsthand, as a prisoner, he it reconstructs what happened in those years to, from there, trace a path to the present, and facts such as the changes in the program in military education to deal more deeply with that period that was announced in 2020.
