Venezuela and the United Arab Emirates strengthen bilateral ties

This Friday the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez held a meeting with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, to discuss issues of binational interest.

Regarding a previous meeting, Gil highlighted that it was an interesting meeting in which they reviewed the history of cooperation between both nations and explored exchange opportunities in different productive sectors.

Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy’s visit to the country is part of a tour that she is conducting through various countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. In this sense, he arrived in Caracas preceded by his trips to Colombia, Paraguay and Costa Rica.

Venezuela and the United Arab Emirates maintain close relations of cooperation and brotherhood, which have been strengthened with the arrival of the Bolivarian revolution.

Last January 2023, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodriguezheld a meeting with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy in Brazil, in order to advance and review the mutual cooperation work agenda between both nations.

Previously, in November 2022, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela reviewed the bilateral agenda, mainly friendship and cooperation relations; as well as the opportunities that open up in terms of trade, economy and investment.
