The latest report issued by the Department of Epidemiology, of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), reports on the updated cases to date, with cases of Dengue, in the country.
Dengue
The report highlights that there are 2,058 confirmed cases of dengue throughout the country. Of which 1,060 cases are female and 998 male.
Without warning signs, 1,818 cases; 233 accumulated with alarm signs and serious with 7 accumulated.
The regions with the most positive cases are: Colón with 437 cases; Bocas del Toro with 401 cases; Panama Metro with 367 cases; West Panama with 208 cases, North Panama with 205 cases and San Miguelito with 157 cases.
The Ministry of Health (MINSA) reiterates the importance of keeping homes and the work environment clean, checking door screens, windows, and looking under sinks, as these are places where there may be breeding sites for the transmitting mosquito.
