Dr. Jorge Gamboa Arosemena spoke with Radio Panama about current political events, the PRD primaries, the situation of the Panameñista Party, as well as the Cambio Democrático party elections.
Regarding the internal struggle between Rómulo Roux and Yanibel Ábrego for control of Cambio Democrático, Arosemena said: “Apparently things are close, if Ábrego wins I don’t see her attached to Martinelli, I see her more attached to the PRD since it would give her the opportunity to continue enjoying the honey of power for 5 more years ».
In the case of Martinelli, he considers that he will be disqualified from these elections: “Martinelli appears to be on top in the polls but this is very relative with 11 months to go before the elections and above all he has to go through the road full of thorns that is criminal proceedings, I I am inclined to be able to disqualify him, “said Gamboa Arosemena.
