Bolivia registers 1,969 infections and 21 deaths from Covid-19

This Thursday the Ministry of Health registered 1,969 new cases of Covid-19 and 21 deaths from the virus. With the new infections, the country reaches a cumulative of 880,891 positives since the start of the pandemic.

The national report indicates that Santa Cruz registered the highest number of infections: 873 positives.

For its part, La Paz encrypted 429 infected; Cochabamba, 370; Oruro, 108; Potosi, 71; Chuquisaca, 53; Beni, 51; Panda, 40; and Tarija, 39.

This Thursday 3,723 people defeated the virus and the total rises to 743,773. Active cases are estimated at 115,878.

The 21 deaths recorded this Thursday bring the number of deaths reported since the start of the pandemic to 21,240. In this fourth wave, the fatality rate remains at 0.6%.
